We aim for complete customer satisfaction on every home remodeling project. Due to the personalized and regulated nature of contracting services in Maryland, refunds and cancellations are governed by your signed contract and Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) rules.
Cancellations

Before signing a contract: No obligation or fees apply.

After signing a home improvement contract: Maryland law (via MHIC) generally allows cancellation within 3 business days of signing by providing written notice to us.

If the contract was solicited or signed via door-to-door or in-home methods, additional rights under the Maryland Door-to-Door Sales Act may extend this to 5 business days (or 7 business days if you are 65 or older).

Beyond these statutory periods: Cancellations are at our discretion and may involve charges for work performed, materials ordered, permits pulled, or opportunity costs.
Refunds

Deposits: Per Maryland law, deposits are limited to no more than 1/3 of the total contract price. Refunds follow applicable cancellation rights.

Progress or partial payments: Refunds (if any) are prorated for uncompleted work or resolved issues.

Completed or substantially performed services: Custom work is generally non-refundable once begun and completed as agreed, except for defects covered under any warranty in your contract.

Refund process: Submit requests in writing with details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10–30 business days (third-party processing fees may apply).
Exceptions and Notes

No refunds for approved change orders, custom-ordered materials, or issues beyond our control.

Project-specific terms in your signed contract take precedence over this policy.
